Portsmouth Abuse and Rape Counselling Service (PARCS) has received £5,000 to fund a specialist counselling service for domestic abuse survivors in Portsmouth.

Manchester-headquartered Airborne Environmental Consultants Ltd (AEC), one of the UK’s leading independent consultants and training providers, has acquired a new office in the South East and plans to hire more staff following a six-figure funding deal with Santander Business Banking. The firm will now be able to embark on the next stage of its growth journey, having purchased the freehold of its new premises based in Brentwood, Essex.

MET Medical Ltd, a St Albans based private ambulance service, has purchased six additional emergency response vehicles and hired 20 new staff following £300,000 funding from Santander Business Banking. MET Medical was established in 2014 by Dave Hawkins as a private ambulance service to carry out urgent, routine and emergency ambulance transfers from hospitals, care homes and private residences.

Belfast’s most exclusive hair salon, Andrew Mulvenna Hair (AM Hair), is moving to new premises following £276,000 funding from Santander Business Banking. The new premises, which are double the size of the previous salon, are located in a Grade 2 listed building on Victoria Street and will allow the firm to expand its employee numbers and training academy.
